Life Teen and Edge
Sunday Evenings 6:30pm-8:00 pm:

7^th and 8^th gr. youth participate in St. Mary Edge.  Teens in grades 9-12 participate in
Life Teen.  Life Teen and Edge is a fun and spiritually-filled youth ministry experience where teens are provided a warm and welcoming environment to encounter Christ through the Sacraments, through prayer and each other.
 
Fees: Registration fee for 7th–8th - $35

Preparation for Confirmation
Teens at St. Mary are usually confirmed in the 8th grade.  Attendance at Confirmation Sessions and all meetings are required.  Teens preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation also attend Life Teen or Edge each Sunday Evening.

General Directory for Catechesis

“Catechesis is different than an academic course, which seeks to impart knowledge about a given subject. While a catechist certainly teaches, and the student catechized certainly learns,
the goal of catechesis is to bring about a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
 It is teaching for conversion.”

*Please know that NO teen is ever denied or turned away because of financial difficulty.

Sunday Evening Mass
Do you play guitar? Tambourine? Piano? Do you love to sing? We are always looking to add to our Music Ministry for Youth Masses! Approximately once a month, Life Teen and Edge come together to celebrate Liturgy. Attending this Mass fulfills the Sunday obligation. Teen and their families, as well as everyone in the parish, are encouraged to come & participate.
