We are grateful to the bishops of Ohio for reinstituting the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday and other Holy Days, beginning the weekend of June 5-6. This is a return to how we worshipped prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
In the gallery below, check out how we're going to adjust to this change, including increasing seating in the church, the wearing of masks, and more.
Some people might be unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the term "obligation" when it comes to Mass, but attending Mass, especially on Sundays and Holy Days, is the best way in which we can both show God our love for him and recieve the graces we need to be his disciples. On the right, you can find links to helpful videos and articles that can help illustrate how attending Mass is a gift of ourselves to God, and shouldn't be seen as a "check in the box" of what it takes to call one's self a practicing Catholic.
Each pew, door, and anything else that could potentially be contaminated is sanitized by staff members on a daily basis.
While masks are no longer required in the church to be worn as of June 2, those who choose to continue masking can be assured of having their choice respected.
